Considering Choir Robes

Choosing Quality

Many congregations find that using choir robes helps give a uniform and more formal appearance to the choir. If this is your preference then finding the right robes and reliable supplier is the next step.

Choir robe features to be considered:

• Appearance - Do they look good? Can you get the style and color you want?
• Size Range - Are there sizes available to match your very large or very small choir members? Can custom sizes be ordered?
• Quality - Will the choir robes still look good after a hundred services? How often will replacement be needed?
• Comfort - Will they be flexible? Will they be cool enough for hot stage lights?
• Ease of Use - Can the choir members get in and out of them easily?

You might be tempted to shop for the best price. If all the other factors have been evaluated and the price is good also then all the better. But robes made of inferior quality fabric  with minimal labor just to get the price down can't possibly have the features you really need. Getting a "good deal" can be tempting but remember the cost of a completely new set of robes will outweigh any savings.  

Choir robe suppliers - What to look for

The choir is usually a long-term, permanent part of the church, it follows then that a supplier that is well estabilshed and focused on a long-term relationship with the client would be the best choice. When additional robes are needed due to growth or replacement it would be good to just place an order, knowing that good service will follow.
